The Oklahoma City Zoo has built a number of new additions recently, with the newest one being the Children’s Zoo. The idea behind this 2.5 acre addition was to give children a place where they can learn, explore, and even touch animals and animal habitats. The exhibit just opened in March, and if you’re planning a trip to the zoo with children, you simply can’t pass it by. Here are a few of the Children’s Zoo’s highlights.

I love trying new places to eat, especially new independent restaurants that aren’t part of a huge chain. Sometimes, these places are a disappointment, but sometimes, they’re incredible. The new Sweet Tea Restaurant on NW 23rd Street near Classen is one of these incredible places.
