Chapel Creek Winery – Wonderful Wines and Friendly People

If you are looking for something new and different to do, then you might want to go and check out the Chapel Creek Winery in El Reno, Oklahoma. This is a small little winery that is a part of the Agricultural Department of the Redlands Community College. The tours take place on the first Saturday of every month and they center around the winery itself and the old chapel that is on the property. You will learn about the history of the chapel as well as the development of the winery and the types of grapes that are grown.

Lynda’s Birkenstock

There are a lot of small, local businesses and stores in Oklahoma City, just like in many areas. The difference is that not all of them are in easy to find locations. While the downtown and Bricktown areas do have a number of great little stores, they aren’t the only place to look for local shopping and great deals. One of the shops that’s a bit difficult to just stumble upon is Lynda’s Birkenstock.

The Paseo Fairy Ball

On Saturday, August 6, the Paseo district will host its annual Fairy Ball. The Fairy Ball includes two hours of live music, dancing, and more, and it’s a great evening for all ages. Children, of course, may get more out of it than others, but it is still a nice way of spending a lazy July evening. The Ball starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 9:30 pm.
