Only in OKC: The Belle Isle Brewery

Looking for a great place to eat?  One of my favorite locations is the Belle Isle Brewery, a restaurant located in the upscale shopping center of 50 Penn Place.  While I can’t really afford to shop there (with the exception of the Full Circle Bookstore, which I’ll be covering in another post), the Belle Isle Brewery is a great place to eat that is really affordable.

The Belle Isle Brewery does, as the name suggests, have a number of beers available.  Not sure which one you want?  You can always ask for a sampler—you get four tiny little shots of beer to try out.  The restaurant also has several different types of wines and some mixed drinks if beer’s not your thing.

But what do they have to eat?  Well, the Belle Isle Brewery has a bit of everything.  They’ve got a large variety of hamburgers if you want beef.  They also have brick oven baked pizza, including some interesting toppings like BBQ chicken and smoked pork.  They’ve got a Mexican section that includes fajitas, enchiladas, and quesadillas.  If you want pasta, you can get a linguini with garlic shrimp, roasted garlic Alfredo, or some Cajun bowtie pasta.  Personally, my favorite cheap lunch is their baked potato and side salad combination.  It’s only $5.29.  With a beverage, that’s less than $8 for a great meal.

In addition to some amazing food, the Belle Isle Brewery also offers live entertainment, outdoor seating, and free wifi.  You can find more information, including their full menu, on their website at
