An Affair of the Heart is Back!

One of the most popular events, both in Oklahoma City and on this blog, is An Affair of the Heart.  This massive crafts, collectibles, arts, and antiques show will take place on October 23, 24, and 25th this fall.  It’s held at the Oklahoma City fairgrounds at 10th and North May.  An Affair of the Heart is open on Friday and Saturday from 9 am until 6 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.  Admission is $6 for all three days.

If you’ve ever been to An Affair of the Heart show, you know that it’s not one of those tiny little shows that only has a dozen booths in one room.  It may have started out like that years ago, but today, the show is the one of the largest of its kind in the country.  According to their press release, the 2009 show will feature more than 850 booths and will be spread out through seven different buildings!  Obviously, there’s a reason your admission is good for all three days.  It’s simply impossible to see it all at once.

If you can’t make the October show, An Affair of the Heart returns to Oklahoma City in February of 2010 (the 12th, 13th, and 14th, to be exact).  They also have shows in Tulsa on November 20 – 22, 2009, July 16 – 18, 2010, and November 19 – 21, 2010.  You can find all the information about the show at their website,  The site also has all the information for new venders, too, so if you’re interested in being a part of the show, check the site’s exhibitors section.
