Looking for a Unique Halloween Experience? Try the Bricktown Haunted Warehouse

In the warehouse district there are many old buildings that loom over the streets, but for the last twenty-six years the Bricktown Haunted Warehouse has been an attraction that has taken the scary aspects of one of these buildings and turned it into a three story haunting free for all.  In fact some claim that the start of the recent revival in that area began with the opening of the first season of the haunted warehouse back in 1984.

I don’t go to the haunted warehouse every year, but I try to make a rotation through the doors once every couple of years just to see what they are planning.  This is because the Bricktown Haunted Warehouse is one that combines a number of different effects and scare tactics into its overall approach to the tradition of a Halloween haunted house.  Within the last five years there was also an addition of a 3D Haunted Dungeon that is supposed to be designed around the idea of combining a feature theme park ride with the haunting elements that have become a staple to the haunted warehouse.

One of the things to remember when going through this particular haunted warehouse is the fact that a lot of time, attention, and detail, have gone into the production of the sets to make sure that you get the full experience.  So, if you can be sure to take a careful look around to see if you don’t notice some interesting and unusual things in the backgrounds of the sets.  I enjoy being in a crowd of people who are both thrilled and scared at the prospect of a haunted house.  There’s just something so fundamentally satisfying about getting a good scare.
