Kamp’s Market & Deli

July 31st, 2010 · No Comments

If you live in Northwestern Oklahoma City, especially if you’re a student at Oklahoma City University, you’ve probably heard of Kamp’s Market & Deli.  This little store is located at NW 25th street and Classen.  The outside of Kamp’s doesn’t look like much—it looks like it could use a good coat of paint, actually…but don’t judge this book by its cover.

The Wedge Pizzeria

March 31st, 2009 · 2 Comments

I recently had a chance to eat lunch and then dinner (well, not in the same day!) at the Wedge Pizzeria.  Located at 4709 North Western Avenue, the Wedge is an unique place to have a pizza pie.

One of the great things about the Wedge is their variety of toppings.  They have pizzas that include walnuts, figs, goat cheese, prosciutto, kalamata olives, and much more in addition to standard toppings like pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and olives.  All of their pizzas are baked in a brick oven on their signature crust.  They also have some very interesting appetizers like proscuitto wrapped pears, meatballs, and more.  If you’re looking for a nice beverage to compliment your pizza, the Wedge serves a variety of beer and has a nice wine list.
